Money Mechanic and Chrissy are the duo behind Explore FI Canada. We met through the Choose FI Canada Facebook group, and came together when Money Mechanic approached Chrissy to start a new podcast. She happily agreed—and here we are!
About Money Mechanic
Money Mechanic lives in Victoria, BC with his wife and two dogs. When not getting paid to fix Helicopters, he considers himself a ‘mechanic’ of many things. “Finances need to be fixed and maintained just like any other complex system.” MM enjoys travel, Curling, and talking about everything FI… Money Mechanic can also be found teaming up with The Accountant and The Economist on the FI Garage podcast and blog.

Chrissy lives in Vancouver, BC with her husband and two boys. When not obsessing about FI, Chrissy enjoys travelling, spending time with family and friends, and indulging in her ‘hobby’ as a foodie. She blogs at Eat Sleep Breathe FI and is excited to bring even more FI content to the Canadian FI community.

Ryan lives in Kitchener, Ontario with his wife and daughter. Since becoming a father, Ryan has joined the FIRE community and is taking action to retire early by age 30. This includes optimizing his investments and living off of $20k a year, which you can read about on his blog, Canadian FIRE.
